Painting Outdoors with Tolt Art Studio

Join us for a day of plein air oil painting at the beautiful Alveare Winery, here in the Snoqualmie Valley. We’ll set up our stations looking out on their lovely grounds, surrounded by hilly forest and cow pastures. The historic farm house, cellar and nearby silos add to the bucolic appeal of this great spot on Pleasant Hill, just south of Carnation. Instruction will be led by Jason Liekhus, owner of Tolt Art Studio. Tuition covers all supplies, except for tripod easels which are an additional $10 to rent. Please reach out to studio staff if you’d like one. Students are encouraged to bring their own lunch, as well as French easels or similar portable gear if they already have them. A glass of wine from Alveare’s award-winning cellar is also included, and guests are welcome to make additional purchases from the winery staff. Instructor: Jason Liekhus, owner of Tolt Art Studio
