Key Leaders Summit - “Creating Connection in an Increasingly Digital World”

Empower Youth Network is hosting the annual Key Leaders Summit on Monday, Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church at 36017 Southeast Fish Hatchery Road, Fall City, WA. The summit is a great opportunity for Snoqualmie Valley leaders and community members to network and engage in relevant community conversations, collaborations, and actions.
 
The event is free and open to all who wish to address issues influencing the overall health and well-being of those living in the valley – especially our youth. This year there is an optional opportunity to purchase lunch, so attendees can continue to network and connect after the summit.
 
This year’s topic, “Creating Connection in an Increasingly Digital World,” is inspired by the book The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness, by Jonathan Haidt.  Join us and help as we explore what it means to be connected as a community in an increasingly digital world. Hear perspective from local youth and help create strategies we might employ to change our trajectory.
