Romance, happy coincidences, an understanding of science and a lifelong appreciation for food, wine and design led to Samantha's work as Owner and Winemaker for Orenda Winery and Event Center. It was a non-linear career path - including studying abroad in Germany, undergraduate work in neuroscience and physiology and publishing neuropharmacology research and doctoral dissertation in medical school. Samantha oversees all day-to-day operations at Orenda Winery and Event Center from winemaking to marketing to event planning and landscaping; she works to ensure Orenda Winery is a powerful and memorable experience to anyone who visits.
