Fall is one of the most beautiful times of year in the Pacific Northwest. With cool, rainy days, misty mornings, and crisp afternoons, it's the season of abundance. Fruits are picked, grapes are harvested, and hearty vegetables fill the fields. In November, farmers wrap up the year's harvest and prepare for the next.
Here at Alveare Winery, November marks the end of crush. The grapes have all been picked, crushed, and pressed, and we begin patiently waiting as our reds age in barrel for the years to come. November is a time for reflection and gratitude. This year, we’ll be celebrating past grape harvests that have matured into wines ready to drink, and giving thanks for this year's fruit with a meal expertly crafted by Terra Tovela.
