SUMMARY:Spire Snow + Sky - Alpine Landscapes of Washington Pass
DESCRIPTION:Spire Snow + Sky: Landscapes of Washington Pass is Scott Rinckenberger's newest collection celebrating the dramatic alpine landscapes of Washington?s North Cascades. From the golden granite spires of Liberty Bell and Kangaroo Ridge to the larches\, glaciers\, couloirs\, and ever-changing skies surrounding Washington Pass\, Scott?s photographs reflect years of climbing\, skiing\, cycling\, and exploring this extraordinary landscape.\n\nThis exhibition comes at an important moment for these wild lands. Many of the landscapes surrounding Washington Pass lie outside designated wilderness areas\, with the 2001 Roadless Rule providing critical protection from new roads and resource development. As that protection faces an active repeal threat\, Spire Snow + Sky is both a celebration of these places and a reminder that they need our voices. \n\nWe cannot protect what we are willing to sacrifice\, and we cannot replace what we destroy. These places need your voice. Public commenting is open through October 6\, 2026. Leave your comment on the Roadless Rule here
